Dr. Swanner was recently interviewed by KCCI news for a one part of a multi-part investigation on cancer in Iowa. Swanner explained the geological source of radon, and how it enters homes. As the story explains, most homes in Iowa test above the recommended limits for radon gas. This can be addressed by installing a radon mitigation system.
